Rice is usually the ideal complement to our recipes. Today I want to share with you the recipe for a Mexican red rice that is very easy to do, it’s different and can be used to vary the traditional white rice. I hope you like it.

Ingredients

1 cup of rice

2 cups of chicken broth

2 peeled tomatoes

2 garlic cloves

1/2 onion

1 carrot (large)

150-200 grams of tomato paste (to taste)

Olive oil

Coriander

Preparation

1. Blend the 2 cups of chicken broth, onion, 1 garlic clove and tomatoes. Add salt to taste.

2. Chop the carrots into cubes.

3. Wash the rice

4. Put some olive oil in a pot and fry the rice with 1 crushed garlic clove. Be careful not to burn it.

5. Add the rice to the mixture blended in step 1 together with the diced carrots and tomato paste. Stir everything and when the broth boils reduce the fire to low.

6. Cover the rice when holes appear until dry. Now it’s ready.

El arroz es muchas veces el complemento ideal para nuestras recetas. En esta ocasión quiero compartirles la receta del arroz mexicano, es muy fácil, diferente y nos ayuda a variar el arroz blanco de siempre. Espero les guste

Ingredientes

1 taza de arroz

2 tazas de caldo de pollo

2 tomates pelados

2 dientes de ajo

1/2 cebolla

1 zanahoria (grande)

150 - 200 gr de pasta de tomate (al gusto)

Aceite de oliva

Cilantro

Preparación

1. Licuar muy bien las 2 tazas de caldo de pollo, la cebolla, 1 ajo y los tomates. Agregar sal al gusto

2. Picar la zanahoria en dados

3. Lavar bien el arroz

4. En una olla poner un poco de aceite de oliva y sofreír un poco el arroz con 1 diente de ajo bien triturado. Tener cuidado que no se queme

5. Agregar el arroz la mezcla que licuamos (paso 1) junto con los dados de zanahorias y la pasta de tomate. Revolver muy bien todo y cuando el caldo empiece a hervir poner el fuego en bajo.

6. Tapar el arroz cuando le empiecen a salir huecos hasta que se seque. Ahora está listo.
