HOW TO ADD A POCKET TO A BASIC TEE / COMO HACER UN BOLSILLO A UNA CAMISETA BÁSICA

Today I want to share a super simple tutorial that will make more of a basic shirt. HERE you can download the pattern.

Hola a todos 

Hoy les quiero compartir un tutorial súper sencillo que va a hacer de una camiseta básica algo más. AQUI puedes descargar gratis el patrón.

Espero que les guste y próximamente esperen el post de Londres.

1. Basic tee 2. Fabric for the pocket 3. Pins 4. Botton 5. Scissors 6. Printed pattern

1. Cut the patterns along the outside lines. Fix the pattern to the fabric with pins. Cut the fabric and then fillet the edge to avoid fraying.

1. Cortar los patrones por la línea exterior, sujetarlos a la tela con alfileres, recortar la tela y luego filetear el borde de la tela para que no deshilache.

 2. Cut the patterns along the dotted line and place them in the middle of the fabric. Then, using the iron, bend the extras.

2. Cortar los patrones por la linea punteada y ponerlos en el medio de la tela. Luego con la ayuda de la plancha doblar lo que sobre.

3. Join the fabric pieces with pins. Then, sew leaving a few millimeters from the edge (sew around the edge of the small piece of fabric) and sew the pocket to the shirt.

3. Unir con alfileres los trozos de tela. Luego coser dejando unos milímetros del borde (coser por el borde del trozo pequeño de tela) y coser el bolsillo a la camiseta.

4. Mark the point where the button will be placed (with the help of the pattern) and sew it by hand.

4. Con la ayuda del patrón marcar el punto donde va el botón y coserlo a mano.

Este es un DIY realmente fácil, el resultado es muy bonito y decorativo. Puedes colgarlo en la pared junto con otros cuadros o simplemente ponerlo en una mesa. Les comparto el patrón que pueden descargar gratis AQUI.

You need: 1. A blank canvas / 2. Wool of the color you prefer / 3. A needle for sewing with wool / 4. Scissors / 5. Tape / 6. The pattern printed from Join the Mood.

Necesitas: 1. Un lienzo en blanco / 2. Lana del color que prefieras / 3. Una aguja para coser con lana / 4. Tijeras / 5. Cinta adhesiva / 6. El patrón impreso de Join the Mood.

Steps

1. Paste the pattern properly centered on the canvas 

2. Pierce the canvas in each red dot from the pattern with the help of the needle. 

3. Sew the crosses with the wool using the pattern. Be careful not to sew the spaces that should not have crosses.

TIP: You don't need to have experience in cross stitch sewing to make this DIY. However it is advisable to sew first in one direction and then return in the opposite direction to form the crosses. This will facilitate the work.

Pasos:

1. Pegar el patron bien centrado en el lienzo 

2. Perforar el lienzo en cada punto rojo del patron con la ayuda de la aguja.

3. Coser las cruces con la lana teniendo el patrón como muestra. Ten cuidado de no coser los espacios que no deben tener cruces. 

TIP: No tienes que tener experiencia en coser punto de cruz para hacer este DIY. Sin embargo es recomendable coser primero en un sentido y luego devolverse en sentido contrario para formar las cruces, así facilitaras el trabajo.

Ya están aquí! las vacaciones y por esto quiero compartirles este tutorial que hice para que join the mood nos acompañe en nuestros viajes. Se trata de una funda para el pasaporte y pueden descargar los patrones para hacerlo AQUÍ. Espero les guste por que a mi me encanto el resultado.

DIY A PATCHES ON THE KNEES / DIY PARCHES EN LAS RODILLAS

You need: a pant of color, fabric scissors, fabric to make patches, needle and thread the same color pants

1. mark the form you want for patches

2. cut the fabric double so that the two patches are equal

3. mark the height you want the patches. You can add a bit of glue to hold them firm

4. sew the patches to the pants with a seam as the illustration. Now enjoy it  ;)

Necesitas: un pantalón del color, tijeras para tela, tela para hacer los parches, aguja e hilo del mismo color del pantalón

1. marca la forma que quieres para los parches

2. recorta la tela doble para que los dos parches queden igual

3. marca la altura a la que quieras los parches. Puedes agregar un poco de pega para que se mantengan firmes

4. cose los parches  al pantalón con una costura como la de la ilustración. Ahora disfrútalos  ;)

This is a very simple tutorial, since it requires few materials and little time its a good idea in order to have skirts of all colors in a simple and economical way. Hope you like it ;)
